A Message from Mrs. Farrell:

"We are learning about the circulatory system in Science 7. I asked Kassi-Jo if she would be willing to be a guest speaker in class and explain to the students how the circulatory system helped her on her path to recovery. She went above and beyond what I expected! She created a worksheet with questions for the class to complete while she spoke; she was engaging, thorough, asked open ended questions and she held a question and answer session after. She also wants to come back and speak again when we are learning about the lymphatic system.

We all know what a difficult journey the battle with cancer is; but to have one of our very own seniors want to share her journey with students and do such a fine job is yet another reason why this building is so special!"
